Green screen technology

NH Communications prides itself on being able to offer high quality filming services for clients using the very latest technologies.

One of these services involves the use of green screen technology. Green screen means the use of a colour separation overlay, or CSO. The CSO is a cloth screen that is usually green or blue.

An interviewee is filmed against the screen, and in editing the single colour green (or blue) is removed and replaced with whatever a client feels is an appropriate backdrop: logos, stills, colours, graphics, even moving images.

It takes anything between 30-minutes to 1-hour to set up. Editing programmes remove all of the colour.
